I picked another (but very similar) method yesterday, if anyone needs, better to explain Continue anyway?" then click Yes.įor this mod pack, this method would work, but for modstation it does not, because it does not continue loading, unless loader finds the client. alright I think I some how fixed the issue with icons: here is what happened installed ModStation and downloading mods from ModStation, first time install mods, icons not working -> uninstalled ModStation, install Aslain's Mod Installer, install mods from Aslain's Mod Installer, icons works, game crashes often -> uninstall Aslain's Mod Installer and the mods, reinstall ModStation. Or Aslains here: I'd recommend the Modstation first, it's a little easier in my opinion for updates etc. I use Modstation which can be downloaded here. You can either use Modstation or Aslains ModPack. You said "loader can't locate steam version's client", assuming you mean the modpack can't locate the steam client, but you can still install to the folder you selected. If it's simply saying that no client was found, you can still install, and things will end up in the proper locations anyways, as long as you made sure to select the correct installation folder. ![]()
